Drama [27 Jan 2006|11:58pm]

We were rehearsing for the show earlier, just running through a couple of the newer songs to make sure we had them down. We started one. Everything seemed to be going smoothly until partway through the first verse. Doèv shouted "what the FUCK", slammed the microphone down, and stormed out of the room.

What happens next? Come to the show and find out.

First off, thank you so much to those of you who came to our show in San Francisco last week. I hope you had a good time!

You probably noticed that there was another musician performing with Doèv and me that night. We've added another member! Homeboy Marty P. plays bass guitar with us, and he's a great musician and a good guy. Things are working out quite well so far, and we think he's added a lot to our sound, and we look forward to working together for some time.

Happy new year to all of you!

I can't find the old LoC poll and am curious so I am taking the liberty of posting my own.
Plus it gives you a chance to let the band know which songs you definitely want to see at the show on the 22nd.

First of all, thank you so much to everyone who made it to our impromptu debut performance last Friday! Sorry for the last-minute warning, but we only had about 30 hours notice ourselves! We're very pleased with how it turned out, and can't wait to play live again in August. Go here to see photos from the show, taken by the dashing Mr. Anderson.

Also, we just overhauled our website. Besides making some cosmetic changes and adding live photos, we've also created a cykhna page. My grasp of Doèv's native tongue isn't very good, but I believe cykhna translates roughly as "fun" or "entertainment". This page is still a work in progress, but we already have the recipe for our own drink, the Left On Calliope!

I think I myself may have had one too many Left On Calliopes last night...
